Dive club Get Wet

Dive club Get Wet is affiliated to the Dutch organisation for underwater sports, the Nederlandse Onderwatersport Bond (NOB), which is the national governing body for recreational diving and underwater sports in the Netherlands. Dive club Get Wet has as goal to promote diving activities by offering diving courses and swim training, and organising club dives.

Get Wet has members of all ages of which most live in The Hague or its surroundings. Our club welcomes beginners as well as experienced divers, so either if you want to join in a dive course or if you are just looking for new dive buddies, you are at the right place.

Learn to scuba dive

Dive club Get Wet offers a full range of both PADI and NOB diving courses. Both PADI and NOB training certificates are recognized internationally. Our instructors are fully qualified and train you to dive safe and have fun. Together with our instructors you can discuss which dive program, NOB or PADI, is best for you.
The basic courses we offer are:

• NOB 1* (PADI Open Water Diver)
• NOB 2* (PADI Advanced Open Water Diver)
• NOB 3* (PADI Divemaster)

All courses include theory classes and a required number of dives, starting in the swimming pool for NOB 1* / PADI OW. Practising rescue skills and EFR are also part of the program.

Do you have a diving certificate already, but would you like to get more extensive training on one specific topic? Then join in one of the specialty courses we offer, such as wreck diving, decompression diving, enriched air, diving in a dry-suit, or underwater photography.

Have you never dived before and you are not sure yet if scuba diving is it for you? Discover scuba diving in a relaxed way by joining in the introductory dive program. The short program includes basic theory class plus one hour practising scuba diving in the swimming pool; the extended program also includes two open water dives.

You do not need to be a member of our club to join in one of the programs or do a introductory dive (members get a discount on the course fee). It is possible to rent diving gear for the duration of the course.

Swim training

Every Friday evening, from 8.45-9.45pm, there is swim training at swimming pool Overbosch (Vlaskamp 3, The Hague). Afterwards we always meet in the canteen of the swimming pool for drinks, so this is the perfect moment to meet the other divers of Get Wet, make dive plans for the weekend or discuss the various options for diving courses.
